The Producers OVERVIEW:  Book by Mel Brooks Thomas Meehan, Music and Lyrics by Mel Brooks.

Based on the 1968 Film.  The winner of 12 Tony Awards, more than any other play of any kind, The Producers will invite our audiences to enjoy an over-the-top Broadway musical while laughing uproariously at swishy, egomaniacal actors and directors; unconscionable, money grubbing producers; and the eerily strange world of financing Broadway plays all capped by the unforgettable and uproariously ridiculous “Springtime for Hitler.”

Into the Woods OVERVIEW: Book by James Lapine, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Everyone who has ever thought that fairy tale endings are just a bit too sunny will enjoy this tuneful, sophisticated, ironic, and darkly funny send-up of “Cinderella,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Rapunzel,” and “Red Riding Hood” in which we learn to “Be Careful the Things You Say, Children Will Listen.” A Sondheim gem, the original Broadway production won the 1988 New York Drama Critics' Circle Award and the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical; as well as a Grammy award for the original cast recording. The show was nominated for ten Tony Awards, and won three including Best Score (Stephen Sondheim) and Best Book (James Lapine).  Don’t miss it.

Annie OVERVIEW: Book by Thomas Meehan, Music by Charles Strouse, Lyrics by Martin Charnin. Based on Little Orphan Annie by permission of The Media Tribune Services, Inc.

Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, this beloved show features the charming story of an orphaned waif longing for her family who must be out there (“Maybe”) and features delightful songs, including the Broadway smash hit, “Tomorrow". Triumphing over evil in the guise of Miss Hannigan and finding a family for herself and ALL the orphanage’s inmates, Annie brings a music laden message of hope, joy, and generosity to light up all of our holidays.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged OVERVIEW:

A Comedy Containing All 37 of the Bard’s Best…in 97 Minutes.  Written by: Adam Long, Jess Winfield, Daniel Singer.  With only three actors and no third wall, this riotous spoof of Shakespeare’s plays highlights a completely silly Romeo and Juliet, the fastest ever performance of Hamlet, and lots of goofy fun turning everything you ever knew (or didn’t know) about the bard upside down. Lots of interaction with the audience. Don’t miss this. It is pure fun.
