Balancing self-destructive tendencies with a drive for stability\, Sunny’s new work documents a period of intense emotional struggle. \nBlending ecstatic gospel\, dusty country blues\, thoughtful folk\, and rip-roaring rock and roll\, Sunny’s songs convey a powerful statement of survival. Her unique style\, honed since childhood influences like AC/DC and Bad Brains\, showcases her ability to merge acoustic punk with country blues. \nAnarchist Gospel emerged from a time of personal upheaval\, including a breakup\, isolation\, and health challenges.
