Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida
presents
LUNAFEST
LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival celebrating, showcasing and championing women in film. Over the past 21 years, LUNAFEST has shone a spotlight on ground breaking new stories and raised over $7 million for women’s causes. LUNAFEST was the first traveling film festival by women and about women; it opened the door for diverse, female filmmakers to tell their unique stories.
The 2023 season of LUNAFEST® features seven short films with a total running time of 90 minutes.
We’re proud to amplify the inspiring short films by this year’s selection of women and gender nonconforming directors. Our featured filmmakers are from all walks of life and range from poets to conservationists, activists, and educators. These stories remind us that when we come together, we all move forward.
Locally, LUNAFEST benefits Girls on the Run girls in Volusia County
Girls on the Run never turns a girl away because of her inability to pay. Our girls receive financial assistance made possible through grants and generous community donations. LUNAFEST provides funds for our scholarships.
Your support helps ensure that our work inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident!
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
