Welcome to The Athens Theatre Youth Academy

Athens Theatre Youth Academy encourages a relaxed atmosphere in the classroom, where students are free to explore their creative abilities. We expect all students to respect their classmates and their work; a great portion of learning about theatre is interacting as artists and mutual support of each other is strongly encouraged and expected.

Our goal is to use theater and theatrical techniques to advance the education of children, which includes an emphasis on oral language development, social skill development and cultural diversity. We exist to serve the younger generation each year with a wide selection of workshops, classes, private lessons and summer camps and to fulfill their creative needs.
