Athens Theatre 100th Anniversary Celebration

What will the party entail?

• Outside on Indiana Ave and N. Florida Ave. in front of the Athens Theatre
  • 1-4 p.m.
    • Cost – FREE!
    • Live entertainment from “The Ramblers” (An Orlando-based 13-piece band that specializes in jazz/swing music from the 1920s)
    • Vaudeville Street performances by Phantasmagoria
    • Contests:
      • Don your duds and dress in your 1920’s/flapper outfits to be entered in a costume contest
        • Winner will receive complimentary box seats (10 tickets) to see Ragtime!  (A value of $375!)
      • Shake a leg, and join a Charleston Dance-Off Competition
        • The last dancer standing will win 4 complimentary tickets to the Athens Theatre Production of their choice.  (Remaining shows this season include Shrek TYA, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Ragtime
    • Refreshments:
      • Cash Food & Beverage Stations will be available

  • 4-5 p.m. – Now Outside on Indiana Ave and N. Florida Ave., as well!

      • ALL DIAMONDS: An Evening with some of our Brightest & Finest
        • Numerous stars from the Athens’s stage and our Youth Academy will bring back to life characters and songs from shows over the past 10 years.  (Featuring numbers from shows like: Grease, The Little Mermaid, Momma Mia, Les Misérables, 9 to 5 the Musical, Always Patsy Cline, Singin’ In the Rain, Chicago, and more!
