SAK Comedy Lab (DeLand YMCA Fundraiser)
Come enjoy a night of laughter with SAK Comedy Lab! Since 1991, their professional ensemble of improve actors has been entertaining audiences with their unique brand of live, improvised comedy. They take your suggestions and create characters, scenes and songs on the spot. Their comedy is sharp, fun and suitable for the entire family.
Comedy for a Cause is a special event sponsored by the DeLand Family YMCA to raise funds for their scholarship campaign. The Deland Family YMCA provides scholarships to children, teens, adults and seniors in our community. These scholarships support essential programs like After-School Enrichment, Summer Day Camp, Swim Lessons, Wellness Programs, Sports and Memberships. This year’s Comedy for a Cause will further help fund these vital programs, ensuring that no one in need is ever turned away.

Due to the fact that the Historic Athens Theatre does not have an elevator to the balcony. The balcony is not accessible to anyone with a wheelchair or walker.
