This Halloween, adventure has a treasure map.

Mikey. Mouth. Data. Chunk. Sloth. The Fratellis. Booby traps. One-Eyed Willy. And, of course, that pirate ship.

Released in 1985, The Goonies brought together director Richard Donner, screenwriter Chris Columbus and a story by Steven Spielberg for one of the great adventure movies of the ’80s.

When Mikey and his friends discover an old treasure map, what starts as one last weekend together becomes a race to find the legendary fortune of One-Eyed Willy—and maybe save their neighborhood in the process. Unfortunately, the Fratellis are after the treasure too.

For those who remember seeing The Goonies when it first came out—or wore out the VHS tape afterward (Be Kind, Rewind!)—here’s your chance to experience it again on the big screen.

And for a whole new generation of Goonies, it’s time to discover the adventure for themselves.
