Students will put on a fully-staged production of the musical, WILLY WONKA KIDS.
*All students are required to be fully available for all rehearsals and performances.
Our production camps are here to give your young artist an opportunity to perform a fully staged show. During camp, students will experience the audition process, learn choreography, music, lines, and more while working with a script and rehearsing for the production. It will end with two performances in the historic Athens Theatre.
SYNOPSIS:
Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whoever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory and a lifetime supply of candy. But beware! The five lucky children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences. Featuring songs from the
1971 film, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth.
