Grades 3 – 12 I $100 for 3-Week Course (FULL)
This three-week workshop is designed to introduce young performers to the art of bringing puppets to life through movement, voice, and storytelling. Students will learn basic puppetry skills, including lip-syncing, eye focus, grounding, conveying emotion, and creating unique character voices. They will also construct their own paper bag puppets and create short scenes using the skills they have learned. This workshop is designed for students interested in auditioning for Finding Nemo JR. or for those who want to learn more about this unique theatrical skill.
Participants in all classes should wear comfortable clothing and closed toed athletic shoes. (no flip flops.)
